Hello everyone,
So it’s been a rough couple days I’m not going to lie. I have held off doing this for a while but I’ll let out the emotions now. Lots of ups and downs on this trip. The buildup was great. We were all so prepared for competition, we were going to do amazing. We made it to DC and we were all bonding, getting close. Then…..BAM, it was cancelled. Just like that, all the work we had done all year was down the drain, all that work for nothing. We never had the chance to showcase our skills, showcase our amazing talent. It was extremely upsetting. I feel for all the seniors who went out on a poor note. I feel for everyone who worked so hard just to get here. It hurts knowing that as a President my legacy won’t be filled with victories and awards. I’ll have nothing. To the underclassman, take advantage of every second at these competitions, you’ll never know when it will be your last. We come back tomorrow, earlier than scheduled due to coronavirus. I have talked to a lot of people this trip and I’m thankful to have gotten so close to a lot of people. So while this trip did have its downs there were many great memories to come with it.
